scientific research often leads to technological advances that can positive or negative impacts on society as a whole.  by biomimicry, which is the examination of nature, its models, systems, processes, and elements to emulate or take inspiration from in order to solve human problems, we can improve and make advancements in technology.  by learning from living organisms we can apply them to modern ideas and impact society as we know it.
