this video explores different ways in which life's problems and conflicts can easily be solved by turning to nature.  Janine discusses techniques in which to helps innovators learn from models in order to design products, processes, and policies that create conditions conducive to life. she talks about the organization she is a part of Biomimicry Institute, a non-profit organization, whose mission is to naturalize biomimicry in the culture by promoting the transfer of ideas, designs, and strategies from biology to sustainable human systems design.  she proposes that instead of learning about nature, we should begin to learn from nature.biomimicry is the examination of nature, its models, systems, processes, and elements to emulate or take inspiration from in order to solve human problems.
